Ushers
We have 2 types of Ushers:
Box Office-
Ushers for Box Office help by greeting guests, checking names off our guest list as patrons enter, and assisting in selling night-of tickets.
They are required to arrive at least an hour prior to curtain time and may leave after curtain if they do not wish to see the show.

AUDITIONS & TECH CREW
Big Dawg Productions is a non-profit community theater, currently doing about six productions a year. We currently do not pay our actors but we do have paid technical positions available on a show-by-show basis.
Auditions are typically held around 6 weeks prior to the opening of a show, so 7-8 weeks prior is a good time to start looking around for Audition information. We typically list the dates on this site, Facebook, Twitter, and in local publications such as the StarNews Thursday editions or Encore. Both magazines are published on a weekly basis, and may be found in multiple locations around
Wilmington.
If you are interested in Tech Crew such as, stage manager, stage crew, helping to build our sets, or operating our light and/or sound equipment, feel free to contact us anytime: We’d love to hear from you!
