Coming Soon - February
February 21-24, & 28-March 3
Big Dawg would like to introduce the return of our 2018 show, Agnes of God by John Pielmeier. Due to Hurricane Florence, we were unable to complete the run of this show, and it was decided that after all of the hard work of the cast, and crew that it was paramount for us to bring this show back.
Summoned to a convent, Dr. Martha Livingstone, a court-appointed psychiatrist, is charged with assessing the sanity of a novice accused of murdering her newborn. Miriam Ruth, the Mother Superior, determinedly keeps young Agnes from the doctor, further arousing Livingstone’s suspicions. Who killed the infant, and who fathered the tiny victim? Livingstone’s
questions force all three women to re-examine the meaning of faith and the power of love, leading to a dramatic, compelling climax.
