White Rabbit Red Rabbit

About the play:

White Rabbit Red Rabbit is an unpredictable theatrical experiment in which each performer encounters the script for the first time onstage. Written by Iranian playwright Nassim Soleimanpour while he was forbidden from leaving his country by the government, the piece explores autonomy, communication, and the nature of performance. Each night is a completely unique event. To say more would spoil the mystery. The play uses humor and drama to address issues of conformity and authoritarianism.

4. What aspects of performing without rehearsal or direction make you most nervous?

5. Describe a time when you had to trust your instincts completely. How did it turn out?

6. How do you handle vulnerability in front of an audience when you cannot predict what will happen next?
